In business, trying to find the balance between being too direct, too indirect, too shy and too pushy can be difficult to understand, especially when you are crossing cultural boundaries. In particular, if you are from a business culture of high context and conflict avoidance like Japan, trying to push, resist or just say “no” to international partners can be very stressful and time consuming.
In this seminar we give people greater confidence in their business communication. By teaching them what is considered overly shy or aggressive in the Japanese and foreign context, the participants are able to tune their style of communication to improve relationships and make a more powerful impact in all their business situations.
This seminar is made up of a series of lectures, workshops and scenarios. These provide the environment for participants to expand their communication knowledge and to change from a feeling of discomfort to a feeling of confidence.
